New Player to our Region??
|
|
One of AYSO’s five core philosophies is “balanced teams”.
As a result, and like many Regions, we maintain an extensive database of
player evaluations as submitted annually by the team’s coach of that season.
These player evaluations are vital and central to the process of
forming balanced teams in the competitive divisions each season.
If your child is new to Region 214
– and will be playing in the:U-10, U-12 or U-14 divisions
– he or she MUST be evaluated in order to be placed on teams.
Your child should attend (only one) of the following evaluation sessions:
Saturday, May 3, 2 - 3 pm
OR
Saturday, May 10, 2- 3pm
FINAL/MAKE-UP
NEW-PLAYER EVALUATION:
JUNE 14
9 am
@ South Pasadena Middle School
(see link at left for map/directions)
•Players need to bring water & wear shin-guards & soccer shoes for the evaluation.
•Each evaluation lasts approximately 15 minutes;
players will be evaluated on a series of individual skills & drills.
NOTE: Children who played in Region 214 last season
should NOT attend these sessions.
REMINDER: Children who are new to the region but who are
playing in the U-6 or U-8 divisions also should NOT attend.
