Celebrate the 4th of July with other AYSO Region 214 players and families
in South Pasadena & San Marino’s 4th of July Parades!
South Pasadena’s 4th of July Festival of Balloons Parade
& Festivities:
7:00 am to 11 am─ Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast at the South Pasadena Fire Dept
10:30 am─ Opening Ceremonies (in front of Library Community Room)
11:00 am─ Parade Starts (corner of Mission and Diamond)
12:00 pm─ Activities at Garfield Park. Food booths, games & music for all ages!
5:30 p.m.─ Gates open for South Pasadena High School Fireworks
8:30 p.m.─ Fireworks are back at South Pasadena High School field!
Live entertainment, dancing and food service. ($7 at gate, $5 before event.)
The theme for this year's parade is "This Land Is Our Land, Made For You and Me."
Volunteers meet at the parade check-in at the South Pas. Library. & find our Region 214 float entry,
please see details below.*
Just look for the soccer ball balloons which we'll use to decorate our tractor used for field maintenance!
Region 214 Board Member Mike Fox, Director of Field Maintenance, will be driving tractor.
Show your spirit & wear your AYSO soccer uniform, or red, white & blue!
The parade is being broadcast by American Cable Vision on Channel 19.
Advance tickets for the Fireworks are available for purchase at the Chamber of Commerce, South Pas. Police Dept, pancake breakfast and Garfield Park.
Note - Special rules for So Pas H.S. field for firework show:
No food or drink except water.
Only "beach style" chairs with supports that are rounded. Chairs with legs not allowed.
No spike heels -- only flat shoes like tennis shoes and flat sandals allowed on track and field.
San Marino's 4th of July Parade
& Festivities:
4:00 pm to 9:00 pm ─ Family Fun Activities at Lacy Park.
Ongoing game and food booths and bingo.
Stage entertainment after 5:30 pm!
Wristbands required.
5:00 p.m.─ Parade Starts
9:00 p.m.─ Fireworks at Lacy Park!

Wristbands for Lacy Park activities and fireworks show are complimentary for San Marino Residents.
Non-residents may purchase wristbands $10 before July 4 or $20 on the day of the event.ages 4 & under are free.

Children Who Want to Participate in Parades:
All are welcome to walk in these true hometown parades!
If your child would like to participate in one of the parades, registration is not required.
Your child should be accompanied by an adult and wear his or her AYSO uniform or red, white & blue,
Proceed to the AYSO Region 214 float at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the parade
and check in with one of the Volunteer Coordinators.
