Safe Haven training
& the appropriate Referee Certification are required to ref in the fall.
Refereeing at the U6-U8 level requires U8 Referee Training.
Refereeing at the U10+ level requires Regional Certification.
Refs advancing from the U6-U8 level to the U10+/ Regional level only need to upgrade their training to earn the Regional Badge.

Region 214 will offer an additional Regional Referee Course:
Saturday, July 19 at the Youth House at Garfield Park in South Pasadena.

COURSE AGENDA
9:00 - 10:00 - Referee Safe Haven (those who have already taken referee safe haven - or coach safe haven - do not need to attend).
10:00 - 12:00 - Part I of the Regional Referee course.
*Those who have already been certified as U8 officials do not need to attend Part I ,
but it is strongly recommend that you do so..
12:00 - 12:30 - Lunch provided by the Region.
12:30 - 5:30 - Part II of the Regional Referee course.
The exam will start around 5:00 pm or earlier.
